Victoria Hills, Chief Executive of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), said: “Everyone at the RTPI is deeply saddened by the news that James Brokenshire MP [pictured, centre] has passed away.
“During his time as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Mr Brokenshire championed the role of planning professionals and engaged positively with the sector.
“The RTPI would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to Mr Brokenshire’s family at this time.”
