Eighteen projects, plans and people are in the South West were in the shortlist to win an award or commendation at the RTPI South West Awards for Planning Excellence 2024
Awards for 2024 will be presented for:
- Best Project (this is the winner of seven project categories)
- Best Plan (this is winner of the Excellence in Plan Making Practice category)
- Planning Authority of the Year
- Small Consultancy of the Year
- Young Planner of the Year
- Best in Region
Chair of RTPI South West Alexis Edwards said:
“I am delighted to see and hear about the wide breadth of shortlisted entries in this years awards. They are a mix of outstanding planning, reflecting the really high standards and achievements of the planning profession throughout the South West. Given the high calibre of entries, the judges will no doubt find it difficult to pick an overall winner.”
The South West winners will be announced on the 25 June at the RTPI South West Summer Reception at Somerset County Cricket Ground which will be attended by RTPI President Lindsey Richards.
