Young Planners in the East Midlands

The East Midlands Young Planners Group was established in 2008 and now has over 300 members. We celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2018, first meeting in Leicester in February 2008.

Megan Wilson BSc (Hons) MSc MRTPI CIHCM, Associate Director in the Strategic Planning Research Unit at DLP Planning Ltd is our 2024 Chair.

What do Young Planners do?

We organise events, ranging from CPD sessions and themed seminars to study tours, networking sessions and socials. We also try to arrange regular L-APC sessions to support those in their professional development journey to MRTPI.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions all activity is on line.  Our Ask the Expert series of webinars are specifically targeted at Young Planners.
