Our current theme is Planning and Design
This month we have three research projects relating to design in planning. Two projects look at the connections between designs and users, one using VR to study community engagement with the built environment and another looking at the legacies of mega-events like the Olympics. Our third project looks at the role of design in the planning process, and whether design quality has been undermined in recent years.
