Rim Chouaib is a dedicated town planner specialising in stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and research-led spatial strategy. With experience spanning national, regional and local level projects, she has contributed to National Planning Framework 4 (NPF4), Indicative Regional Spatial Strategies (iRSS), and award-winning plans such as the Fraserburgh Beach Masterplan.
Her innovative approach integrates international best practice, creative engagement techniques, alongside digital tools to foster inclusive planning. A passionate mentor, mum of 2 and RTPI advocate, Rim actively supports young professionals, contributes to academic discourse, and champions community-driven planning, demonstrating an outstanding commitment to shaping sustainable and resilient places.
Ian Scott
Ian has eight years' experience across both the public and private sectors. He overcame early career setbacks, including a serious illness and pandemic-related challenges during his move into the private sector, recently achieving significant professional growth.
In five years he rapidly progressed from Graduate Planner to his current senior role at Ryden, becoming MRTPI along the way.
His career demonstrates resilience, advocacy for the profession and a commitment to CPD and volunteering. He has a proven record of navigating high-profile clients through the planning system whilst ensuring his clients' projects comply with policy aims and deliver wider public benefit.
