RTPI NI promotes planning as a profession and builds links with other built environment professions and organisations throughout Northern Ireland. We also support dialogue on planning policy issues with public bodies, industry representatives and within the media.
We offer members and others involved with planning in Northern Ireland, a programme of affordable seminars and events to assist with their continuing professional development requirements, and also publish PlaNIt, a newsletter for members.
We have a membership of around 700, drawn from the Department for Infrastructure, Councils, private consultancies, developers, the education sector and other organisations working in the field of planning.
