The RTPI Cymru Awards for Planning Excellence 2025 showcase and celebrate the best plans, projects and people.

Now that our entries have been judged in the Nations and Regions, we are looking forward to meeting and giving recognition to the planners and teams who have delivered such inspiring work this year.

We will be announcing and honouring our regional winners at our RTPI Cymru celebration event in June.

Awards for 2025 will be presented for:

Best Project
Planning Authority of the Year
Small Planning Consultancy of the Year
Mid-Size Planning Consultancy of the Year
Young Planner of the Year

Now that our entries in the Nations and Regions have been judged, we are looking forward to meeting and giving recognition to the planners and teams who have delivered such inspiring work this past year.

We hope you can join us for our RTPI Cymru Summer Party event on Wednesday 25 June where we will be announcing and honouring our local winners. The Summer Party will be held at the The Botanist in Cardiff.

A stepping stone to our national celebration

All the RTPI Cymru Awards winning entries will be put forward for the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence*. The UK finalists will be announced in mid-October. And the winners will be honoured at a celebration ceremony taking place in London on 27 November.

*All Young Planner of the Year winners will be entered into the national shortlist and will be judged by the national judges and the top five will become national finalists.
