The judges said:
"In selecting this entry as winner, the Judges felt that Place Studio put together a well crafted, evidence-based and fascinating submission, fully deserving of RTPI recognition through the Awards. They operate on a bespoke financial model with impressive use of grant funding to add value and impact. Particularly impressive is the tool kit and releasing social capacity in the areas they work. They are a co-founder of the Association of Collaborative Design with exemplar input in community engagement, impressive client testimonials and supporting case studies."

They embrace technology and applied learning and application in the realms of GIS and BNG. Their submission addressed issues of value for money, support for SMEs and cross-selling of consultancy services and supporting LPAs through pre-app discussions on all projects. A local team with strong environmental values, with some interesting projects under their belt which they can be rightly proud."

Pearce Planning are based in Bristol area but deliver planning advice on a national basis working predominately with private sector clients but also with UWE and
other educational establishments. We pride ourselves on service and delivery adding value and sustainable goals. The team negotiate for the best outcome for our clients working respectfully with LPAs striving for officer support. PP provides expertise in urban regeneration, PBSA markets and residential, commercial and mixed use developments, education, greenfield proposals. Design focused team with strong project co-ord

Shortlisted - Master Land and Planning
Master Land & Planning Ltd (MLP) is a Wiltshire-based planning consultancy established in 2021. MLP have built a reputation for providing an excellent, comprehensive service for their clients, and for gaining planning permission on extremely challenging sites and projects. Development management services guide clients through feasibility, application, appeal and enforcement stages. Plan-making services are provided for neighbourhood planning groups with bespoke support, project management, and the preparation of key evidence to justify site selection and policy decisions. MLP undertake advocacy roles to represent charities and community groups and allow their voice to be heard.

"The judges were impressed with the breadth of experience demonstrated and inparticular their approach to Neighbourhood planning, which appeared at the forefront of their submission. The practice demonstrated a range of case studies working closely with local communities to help navigate complex technical issues and secure positive planning outcomes."
