Event Description
This event brings together planners, local authorities, developers, academics, and community leaders from across Yorkshire to explore how digital tools can transform planning practices and help build inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready communities. The focus is on collaboration, innovation, and empowerment, leveraging technology to bridge the gap between planners and the public, making the planning system more transparent, interactive, and responsive.
Set against the backdrop of Bradford’s role as the UK City of Culture 2025, the event aims to showcase how immersive technologies and digital engagement can support placemaking, heritage, regeneration, and community identity in a digital age.
As part of the event, you'll have the opportunity to explore Virtual Bradford – a cutting-edge 3D digital twin of the city centre. This interactive model showcases how advanced digital technology is already being used to shape the future of Bradford.
With ongoing investment, the model is expanding across the wider city, supporting strategic planning, sustainable development, and Bradford’s clean growth ambitions.
Come and see how this innovative tool is transforming how we design, plan, and deliver a smarter, greener Bradford and how this could shape other UK cities.
