Event Description
Organised by Gloucestershire Young Planners, this tour of Gloucester builds on our 2023 tour, updating on some of the projects discussed during that tour but primarily focusing on the relationship between Gloucester Docks/Quays and the main city centre.
The tour will look at the positive and negative impacts of the evolution of this area of the city covering topics such as viability, preservation of heritage assets, and diversification of uses away from retail to offer a wider range of entertainment and leisure experiences.
We will also discuss some current planning applications and development in progress, looking at future opportunities for this area of the city.
