Event Description
Join RICS Matrics Devon for their biggest inter-professional networking event of the year. Escape the confines of the office in favour of the stunning backdrop of Plymouth Sound National Marine Park for an evening of networking, nibbles and nautical adventure.
This event is in partnership with RTPI, CIBSE, CIOB and is open to all Devon/Cornwall/Somerset-based built environment professionals.
Programme
The boat will be leaving Plymouth Landing Stage at 19:30 on 22 August 2025 for a cruise around the estuary of the River Plym, Plymouth Sound and the estuary of the River ahead of returning to Plymouth Landing Stage at 22:30.
Photographs may be taken at this event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make the RICS Matrics host and/or photographer aware.
Catering
- A selection of light bites will be available free of charge, with vegan and gluten-free options. We recommend that attendees seek a hearty dinner before.
- There is a licensed bar on board which stocks a variety of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Accessibility information
- There are several car parks available near Plymouth Landing Stage including; Lambhay Hill Car Park, Elphinstone Car Park and Harbour Car Park.
- The nearest bus stop is Mayflower Steps which is frequented by the 25 Ocean City Sights bus.
- Plymouth Landing Stage is a 25 minute walk from Plymouth train station.
- We encourage attendees to take public transport of lift share.
