RTPI West of Scotland Chapter are happy to present an online webinar on the education of future planners in Scotland.
The event will feature short talks followed by discussions from the following participants, advising how their organisation is contributing to the education and development of the next generation of planners in Scotland, and particularly the revival of planning education in the west of Scotland.
The speakers will be:
Andrew Hoolachan – will present on the post-graduate planning qualifications offered at University of Glasgow.
Sohail Ahmhad – will present on the new workplace learning undergraduate course offered by the University of West of Scotland which enables students to work while they study for their planning degree.
Susan Stirling – will talk about the Scottish Government’s Future Planners Programme 2025 and the National Planning Skills Commitment Plan.
Caroline Brown – will share how the RTPI is supporting Future Planners.
