Join Young Planners and Plymouth City Council for a walk and talk tour of Plymouth City Council’s Ponds Project at Central Park, Plymouth. The 2-hour tour led by Liza Oxford (Natural Infrastructure Officer, Plymouth City Council), and Abbey Edwards (Planning Officer at Plymouth City Council) will provide an overview of the Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) project. The tour will focus on Drainage, Ecology and Biodiversity Net Gain.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the innovative SuDs project which not only provides a nature-based solution to flooding, but also looks to address wider planning considerations, such as: improved access; conservation of heritage features; conservation of trees; placemaking and design; Biodiversity Net Gain; and education in relation to water and nature.

Afterwards feel free to join us for pizza and networking at Roam Brewery Taproom, which is approximately a 10 minute walk, or short drive from Central Park.
