RTPI NW Young Planners presents 'Speed Networking' at the University of Manchester. This event is open for all 3rd and 4th year undergrad and postgrad planning students. 1st and 2nd year planning students and those interested in a career in planning are also welcome.
The event will bring together prospective employers across the built environment to allow small groups of students to spend 5-10 minutes to discuss their aspirations and understand the daily activities of different disciplines and sectors. When the 5-10 minute period concludes, the students will move onto the next employer to gain a comprehensive insight to the potential career paths. This event serves as a quick-fire round-robin to foster invaluable connections for future planners.
