Mineral planning is to ensure an adequate supply of minerals to meet the demands of society, at all times, whilst not unduly prejudicing amenity, future generations, or,  the environment through their extraction. A range of expert speakers will give their perspectives with a focus on South East. Considerations will include the relationship of Local Plans with mineral supply and demand issues as well as the challenges and considerations in related planning applications. Speakers will be from legal, public and private sector.
