Join the RTPI North West Young Planners for a guided tour of Energy House 2.0 at the University of Salford, followed by a tour of the Crescent masterplan area!

Energy House 2.0 is the largest energy efficiency laboratory of its kind and leads the way in the exploration and research of low/zero carbon housing and retrofitting tech. During this tour, you'll be able to enter the facility to learn about its capabilities and how the team are working to help the building industry invest in low carbon technologies and work towards net zero.

The remainder of the afternoon will be led by Dan Welsh of Salford City Council, who will walk us through the Crescent masterplan area and discuss the continued progress being made towards major regeneration in the city. We aim to finish at a local pub to end the day with networking.

Meeting point will be at Energy House 2.0 Frederick Road Campus, Frederick Rd, Salford M6 6PU. It is a five minute walk from Salford Crescent train station, and a number of buses stop close by. Car parking spaces on campus are available but limited.

This is a members only event.
