The Granton Waterfront Regeneration Project is an ambitious long-term redevelopment scheme to deliver sustainable regeneration to a key Brownfield site within Edinburgh. The City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with Cruden Homes East as principal development partner, has been working closely with multiple stakeholders to set out a dynamic place-based approach to regeneration, aiming to create new high quality urban environments for people to live and work in. The project has already delivered extensive development on the ground, including both new commercial and residential development and the ongoing redevelopment and refurbishment of several important historical buildings.

Speakers Linda Hamilton, Planning Advisor to the Regeneration Project and Michelle Fraser, the Project Programme Manager will be offering a unique and detailed insight into the history of the project, the major achievements,  the long term aims and the collaborative role which planning has played with other agencies in helping to deliver the project.
