Site visit to the new NESS Energy from Waste Plant. 

The NESS energy project in Aberdeen is capable of processing 150,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste every year to generate electricity.  These modern plants burn the non-recyclable waste cleanly and conform to the strict standards for emissions. 

PPE requirements for the tour:

  • Hard Hat
  • Hi-Viz vest
  • Safety glasses
  • Gloves

Safety footwear not required but you must wear sensible closed toe shoes/boots.
