Demand projections for GB suggest that 277 to 323 million tonnes of aggregates will be needed each year by 2035.  Cumulatively, this means that between 3.8 and 4.1 billion tonnes of aggregates will be required between 2022 and 2035.  Against a backdrop of declining reserves, is the Government’s recent publication of a critical minerals strategy just tinkering around the edges or does strategic planning for all essential minerals in the UK need a radical rethink.

This event includes a site visit by coach.
