This is a training event for active PAE volunteers only.  If you’re not currently registered as a PAE volunteer, we will not be able to process your booking.

On occasion, Planning Aid volunteers may be offered casework or other volunteering opportunities involving people with Neurodiverse conditions and/or physical disability. To ensure that the best service is provided, it is important that volunteers gain further understanding of the relationship between neurodiversity, physical disability and the built environment. This includes any practical tools that may aid discussions with the development industry and/or local authorities.

This webinar is arranged by the RTPI NW Planning Aid Task Group, who are delighted to present the below speakers:

Chaired by Eleanor Rawsthorne - Planning Enforcement Officer at South Lakeland District Council

Jenny Offord - Senior Planning and Enabling Officer at Homes England and Co-founder of Neurodiversity in Planning.

Jon Gibbons - Founder and Managing Director of As it Should Be.

Philip Barton - Independent Planning Consultant, Inspector/Reporter and Planning Aid Volunteer.
