The built environment is changing fast. Planning is an exciting, varied career that involves you playing an important role in creating sustainable and inclusive spaces, towns and cities for all.

Apprenticeships are a great way to develop and grow a talented and qualified workforce or upskill existing employees in your organisation. Apprenticeships can improve productivity and service.

This informative webinar - aimed at school/college leavers and those with L3 Qualifications (A-Levels and BTEC and equivalent) as well as employers wanting to know more about the Degree Level Apprenticeship - will focus on the benefits and motivations for entering into the planning profession and the aspirations of the apprentices’ to shape the word in which we live.

Did you know in Yorkshire we have two accredited Planning Schools offering the Chartered Town Planning Apprenticeship? Both Sheffield Hallam and Leeds Beckett University offer this highly popular route into the profession.

Across England, currently 11 RTPI accredited universities offer training for town planning apprenticeships.

Employers can use government funding to pay towards the training of their apprentices. Funding for the apprenticeship qualification is covered by the apprenticeship levy, more information on this can be found here.

In this webinar we will include discussion from a range of employers and accredited universities who currently offer the RTPI Apprenticeship route, and the benefits of this to all.
