Stuart Guzinski of Forth Environment Link has kindly agreed to share his experience of developing a 20 Minute Neighbourhood Pilot for Drymen. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park funded the work in late 2021/early 2022 and he worked with Drymen Community Development Trust and Drymen Community Council. As Stuart stated at the beginning of the work, “The pilot will give locals the opportunity to shape the future of their villages, so that they can meet more of their daily needs locally and live more sustainably.” This event is an opportunity to, not only see whether that expectation was met, but also to discuss what planners need to do to make 20 Minute Neighbourhoods a reality.
