We are pleased to confirm our Bike Ride is back for 2022!

We are delighted to offer two options to join the ride depending on your level of fitness. The full loop will be approximately 60-mile, alternatively you may be interested in the 30-mile ride. Limited space is available on the shorter ride as transport will be provided from the Cycle Hub, Newcastle (with your bikes) to take up to Alnmouth Golf Club to join the other riders for lunch.

Following lunch, all riders will head off together back to Stannington.

This is a great day out not only by taking some exercise, but lots of opportunities to meet RTPI/other build environment members or catch up with friends and colleagues during the day.

Additional information
All riders will be required to complete an entry form, confirming health conditions and emergency contact details, as well as sign a disclaimer.

Bike hire is available at the Cycle Hub at your own cost, please book in advance.

The surfaces are a mix of part off road – is a compacted gravelly path.  It would benefit from studier/thicker tyres – perhaps more akin for a hybrid or cross bike, typically a sturdy 25mm tyre (or greater would be fine).

BOOKINGS CLOSE: Monday 9 May
