As planners, we face many challenges on a daily basis - challenges which can test morale, resilience and even personal well-being both at work and at home.  In this webinar, hosted in partnership with our friends and colleagues at MIND and LUC, we will explore some of these challenges and consider how we can introduce ways to support our own well-being.

In this session we will draw on results from our recent MIND survey – which invites members to share their experience confidentially about the things that impact their own well-being at work.  We will also hear from our Young Planners on how COVID has impacted their experience at work on a day-to-day basis.

Adrian Wikeley, Board Director for Landscape Architecture will explore the potential for local landscapes to build resilience in people and communities. This will include tackling health inequality through targeted improvements to neighbourhood green spaces and public realm in our most deprived areas; giving people meaningful places to go to breathe, restore and move.

Finally, hearing from or expert speaker Ian Hill from MIND, we will consider what tools, resources and support we can access in the work environment to help strengthen our own resilience and personal well-being.
