From Buenos Aires to Toronto to Bristol, please join the RTPI West of England Young Planners as part of the ‘Jane’s Walks’ global festival on Friday 6th May.

Jane’s Walks; inspired by the celebrated urbanist Jane Jacobs, are a global movement of free, community-led walking conversations taking place in cities worldwide. The walk in Bristol will be led by Julie Laming; director of Planning Ventures, and will explore Bristol’s historic centre before venturing onto Millennium Square and Whapping Wharf. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the built environment around them, learn about how Bristol has evolved over time and think about what they’d like to see next for the city.

Please note the walk will start at The Nails (outside the Corn Exchange) on Corn Street, before venturing onto Millennium Square and finishing at Whapping Wharf. The walk will be approximately one mile in length. Delegates will need to consider appropriate footwear and to be mindful of prevailing weather conditions on the day.
