This event will consider how planners can help to deliver the right homes in the right places, meeting the needs of local communities, supporting local priorities and creating sustainable and beautiful places. It will consider the concept of modern methods of construction and will look at the potential to provide net-zero carbon homes. It will consider the potential impacts on viability of development and how these can be considered in both plan making and housing delivery. It will provide more information in relation to the delivery of First Homes, and housing for older people.
