RTPI Yorkshire brings this webinar to you as part of the RTPI Online event series.

In Spring 2021, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) announced that the National Model Design Code – meaning areas which are beautiful, well-designed and locally led - is being tested in 14 areas across England. This pilot programme provides local authorities with guidance to shape new developments in a way which reflect what their own communities want. In this insightful webinar, we will explore and evaluate the findings from a geographic spread of areas  – including Leeds, Sefton, Colchester and mid-Devon- looking at objectives, key drivers, community engagement, feedback and what lessons can be learned.

Confirmed speakers;

  • Jim Fox - Associate, Hyas
  • Caroline Harris, Principal Planner, Leeds City Council

Book your place below.  Joining instructions will then be sent approximately two days prior to the event.
