Creating healthy places is becoming a bigger part of policy across the UK and Ireland, especially on the back of COVID-19 where many of us developed a greater appreciation of the places where we live and work. This webinar will look to explore how we can make this happen looking at how planners can work with other professionals and communities to improve the quality of our neighbourhoods, towns, and cities to embed health benefits into decisions on how we design and use these places. It will examine the role of active travel, designing for children and people, mental health and how concepts such as twenty-minute neighbourhoods can support these ambitions.
