RTPI North East brings this webinar to you as part of the RTPI Online event series.
The requirement to deliver and demonstrate net gain for biodiversity has increasingly become standard practice across a wide range of planning applications. Delivering net gain can be a subjective process and one which both LPA and applicants have had a number of issues in achieving this.
Introduction to the existing and emerging planning policy requirements associated with delivering net gain for ecology. Alongside illustrations and examples of how net gain has successfully been achieved through the planning process, and what the opportunities exist for this new development consideration.
We will hear from an ecologist on their viewpoint and from Natural England on 'How best implemented/similar'. This event will be chaired by Joe Nugent, RTPI NE Regional Chair.
