Join RTPI President Dr Wei Yang on her visit to Nene Park.
Nene Park lies to the west of Peterborough and is a mix of parkland, meadows, woodland and lakes with the River Nene connecting all the different areas. The Park contains a rich heritage from Roman archaeology to Georgian and Victorian features, supports a diverse range of species including otters, herons, kingfishers and wildflower meadows.
Hear how the Nene Park Trust, which was established in 1988 as a charity, combines managing and protecting the Park with providing recreational activities for the local community and built development in the environmentally sensitive area.
Speaker: Andrew MacDermott, Nene Park Trust
