Planning for beautiful and sustainable places forms the second pillar of the Government’s proposed planning reforms. This session will focus on ways in which we can set clear expectations for achieving high quality development through the planning system.

Our speakers will consider the key principles that should guide our approach and what makes a good guide, code or Masterplan. It will also consider the term Masterplan often used frequently in the world of planning, and which can mean different things to different people, often resulting in confusion in their purpose, shape, form and content.

The link to the webinar will be sent out a day before the event.

The event also provides an opportunity to reflect on our design skills and resources across the planning profession and encourage best practice.
