RTPI London with Women in Planning:

With a recent survey revealing 97% of women have been sexually harassed and/or abused and COVID-19 giving opportunity for us to rethink our streets, how can planners create inclusive streets and public spaces for women to feel safe and thrive in?

Touching on topics from 'who are designing our streets and public spaces' to 'the implementation of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs)', our panel will discuss how we can make our towns and cities more inclusive for all women.

Join in the conversation between our guest panel, comprised of industry experts and individuals who have contributed greatly to the inclusive agenda, chaired by Lucy May (RTPI London Committee Member & Senior Planner at Jacobs).

Confirmed speakers:

  • Sarah Berry, Herne Hill Campainger for Low Traffic Neighbourhoods
  • Dr. Ellie Cosgrave, Director, UCL Urban Innovation and Policy Lab, Associate Professor, UCL
  • Jenny Divine, Policy and Networks Advisor and co-author of 'Women and Planning' RTPI
