Government has introduced a number of planning system changes as a result of COVID-19 so that business can adapt. There are potentially more changes on the way as part of the recovery strategy. This webinar delves into the detail of these planning changes and reforms and ask the questions: what impact do they have on the historic environment and what protections remain in place?

Each speaker will set out their interpretation of what the impacts may be. We will hear from a leading historic environment professional body, a major heritage conservation charity and custodian of historic assets, and from an architect and developer with wide-ranging experience of working on projects involving historic buildings and sites

Speakers:

  • Chair:Gareth Giles FRTPI, Whaleback
  • Peter Hinton, Chartered Institute for Archaeologists
  • Scott Lawrie, Ethos
  • Natasha Rowland,The National Trust

The link to the webinar will be sent out a day before the event.
