This webinar forms part of our RTPI Online series and is brought to you by the North West Region.

Public speaking takes many forms for planners. We communicate with our colleagues in meetings and informally; we negotiate with our professional counterparts and mediate at consultation events. We pitch for new work or for new job roles. Communication is a valuable skill. But too often, our performance is impacted by nerves, fear of judgement, poor preparation or ineffective PowerPoints.

This workshop will be led by trainers with a deep understanding of what makes a great public speaker and how we can overcome the nerves that creep in when we step out of our comfort zone. You will leave with a toolbox of skills and knowledge that will help you feel more comfortable and confident about speaking in public. We’ll cover developing authentic feelings of confidence, rehearsal techniques, body language and how to engage your audience.

Book your place and you will be sent the webinar link a few days before the event.
