This webinar will showcase the Boston Barrier Flood Protection Scheme, highlighting the environmental and community benefits delivered by the project. Regeneration projects and new developments in Boston will also be highlighted.
The presentation on the Barrier will include the key details of the scheme, which includes a 25 metre wide rising gate across the The Haven, the application process, how community engagement was key to delivering the project and the benefits from the scheme which will see over 14,000 homes and many businesses being protected from future storm surge flooding.
