This webinar forms part of our RTPI Online series and is brought to you by RTPI Devon, Cornwall and Somerset Young Planners.

We invite you to join us for an afternoon online discussing historic environment and development!

Speakers:

Richard Morrice, Senior Reform Advisor at Historic England, who prepared HEAN 12 – Statements of Heritage Significance, will start the evening by presenting on the topic of Significance as it relates to heritage assets, particularly designated heritage assets. He will also give  advice on the writing of a Heritage Statement (Statement of Significance).

Duncan Coe, a Heritage Consultant with Cotswolds Archaeology will then present on what is required to inform planning applications, the role of ‘heritage experts’, non-designated heritage assets and proportionality.

The webinar may have opportunities for interactive feedback and talks will be followed by Q&A.

This ancient topic is being dug up for your examination – so join us before it becomes history!

Please book your place following the online booking prompts below. You will then be sent information on how to join the webinar a week before the event.
