Written evidence to Public Petitions Committee regarding Petition 1749, financing the maintenance and restoration of listed buildings

RTPI Scotland has submitted evidence to the Public Petitions Committee regarding Petition 1749, protecting small communities in Scottish planning policy. The evidence acknowledges the important contribution that build heritage makes to the quality of places. However it raised concerns around costly new requirements that could divert resources away from other built heritage.
