RTPI Scotland has responded to the Scottish Governments consultation on environ
mental principles and governance. The response agreed with the introduction of a duty to have regard to the four EU environmental principles in the formation of policy. The response also acknowledges that there may be significant loss of the expertise and independence from the EU institutions as a result of Brexit.
