RTPI Scotland submission of evidence to the Scottish Parliament Local Government and Communities Committee scrutiny of the Planning (Scotland) Bill

RTPI Scotland submitted evidence to the Scottish Parliament Local Government and Communities Committee scrutiny of the Planning (Scotland) Bill. RTPI Scotland advocated for defining planning in the Bill, strengthening NPF and lengthening the LDP cycle. RTPI Scotland also suggested better financing in relation to several proposals such as community engagement and the infrastructure levy.
