London Young Planners Padel Tournament

Join the London Young Planners Committee for an exciting after-work padel session, designed to bring together planning professionals from across London in a relaxed and social environment.

Whether you're an experienced player or completely new to the sport, this event offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow young planners, build your professional network, and enjoy a fun, friendly activity outside of the workplace.

Following the Padel session, attendees are invited to continue the conversation and networking at the Pear Tree Café, where refreshments will be available in an informal setting.

Battersea Park Millennium Arena is located within Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ.

By train:
Battersea Park railway station is approximately an 18–20 minute walk from the venue. Alternatively, Clapham Junction railway station is around a 25-minute walk away and offers extensive rail connections.

By Underground:
Battersea Power Station Underground station (Northern Line) is approximately a 15–20 minute walk from the venue.

By bus:
The venue is served by several bus routes, including the 44, 137, 170, 211, 319, 344, 436 and 452. The nearest stops are along Battersea Park Road and Chelsea Gate, both within a short walk of the arena.

By car:
Limited parking is available within Battersea Park, including the nearby Battersea Park Car Park. We recommend allowing extra time, particularly during busy periods.

By taxi:
Taxis and ride-share services can drop passengers off close to the Millennium Arena entrance within Battersea Park, typically within 100–200 metres of the venue depending on park access arrangements on the day.

We encourage attendees to use public transport where possible, as parking within the park can be limited.

Before you set off, it's worth checking for any updates – e.g. ongoing roadworks in the area that might affect your journey.

Tickets

We offer free tickets for carers and have a limited number of free or discounted tickets for those working in the public sector, students and those on low income/unemployed. Contact us to check availability.
