Join us for an informative session covering the route to chartership and early career development within the planning profession.
The event will feature a presentation from a member of the RTPI Membership Team, who will provide an overview of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process, including:
- The different types of RTPI Chartered Membership
- Assessment outcomes and what to expect
- The support available from the RTPI for APC candidates
- Practical tips and advice for a successful submission
Following the presentation, recently chartered members from RTPI Yorkshire will share their personal experiences of completing the APC process, offering valuable insights and guidance for prospective candidates and also sharing their own early careers advice.

The Isaacs Building is located in Sheffield city centre, within the Heart of the City district.
By train: Sheffield Railway Station is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the Isaacs Building. Alternatively, a taxi from the station typically takes around 5 minutes, depending on traffic.
