Organised by RTPI London

Get ready for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and great company at the London Young Planners Summer Social! This is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect, and build relationships with others across the planning and built environment sector in a relaxed and lively setting.

What to expect:

We’ll be heading to Electric Shuffle, an immersive shuffleboard experience that combines cutting-edge technology with classic gameplay. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or completely new to shuffleboard, the interactive format makes it easy for everyone to get involved. With a dedicated games master guiding the action, you can expect fast-paced rounds, a few laughs, and maybe even some healthy rivalry as you compete alongside fellow attendees.

This event is open to all — whether you’re a young planner, just starting out in your career, currently studying, or simply interested in meeting others in the industry. It’s a great chance to expand your network, share experiences, and meet like-minded people from across London in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Event schedule:

  • Arrival from 18:00
  • Games begin at 18:30 (hosted by a games master)
  • Games conclude at 21:00
  • Event close at 21:30

Your ticket includes access to the Electric Shuffle experience, along with two drinks and food — so you can focus on enjoying the evening without worrying about the details.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early. We’re looking forward to seeing you there for what promises to be a fantastic summer evening!

Getting to the venue

Electric Shuffle London Bridge is located in the heart of London Bridge, just a short walk from the river and some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

By train: London Bridge Station is about a 2-minute walk away, and Monument Station is around 8 minutes on foot.

By bus: The venue is served by multiple routes, including 43, 141, 149 and 521, with stops close to London Bridge.

By car: There are several public car parks nearby, though we recommend using public transport where possible due to the central location.

By taxi: Taxis can drop you off just a short distance from the venue, approximately 50–100 metres away.

Before you set off, it’s worth checking for any updates – for example, ongoing roadworks or transport disruptions that might affect your journey.
