As an apprentice studying on an RTPI accredited degree your membership is free until the end of the year you graduate. Your membership will give you access to RTPI student resources and will show employers your commitment to gaining professional qualifications. The Degree Apprenticeship End Point Assessment is the final stage of the Chartered Town Planner Apprenticeship and enables an apprentice to become a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) whilst gaining practical experience in the workplace. The Degree Apprenticeship End Point Assessment is funded as part of the Chartered Town Planner Degree Apprenticeship.

If you are waiting to gather enough experience for one of our other membership classes, or have an interest in planning and want to be kept up to date on planning issues, you can become an Affiliate and access our benefits and services. As an Affiliate, you do not require any professional planning qualification, experience or educational attainment.
