Join us for an evening of celebrating planning!

What to expect:

RTPI Cymru is delighted to organise this evening dinner at Park Plaza hotel on 23 September. 

Following a drinks reception guests will sit down to a delicious three course meal.

This popular social event provides a great opportunity to get together with colleagues and clients. We will also announce and celebrate the winner of the 2026 RTPI Cymru Prize for Academic excellence.

What to expect:

  • Drinks reception from 19:00
  • Three course meal 
  • Networking opportunities
  • Dress code: We want everyone to feel comfortable while maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere so feel free to choose attire that suits your style within these guidelines: 
    • suit and tie (black tie not required)
    • evening dress or elegant separates
    • traditional and cultural dress is warmly welcomed
    • feel free to adapt your outfit for mobility, sensory, or health needs.

Booking is essential.

Closing date for bookings is Tuesday 15 September 2026 17:00.

Getting to the venue

The nearest train stations are Queen Street approximately 8 minutes away, and Cardiff Central approximately 15 minutes away (please note these timings are for walking).
 
There are several bus stops on Greyfriars Road close to the venue, as well as a taxi rank.

When travelling by public transport, use the following resources to plan your journey:

Park Plaza Cardiff does not have car parking facilities on-site. However, there are nearby car parks:  the NCP car park on Greyfriars Road, located directly opposite the Hotel entrance, and street parking around Cardiff City Hall, a short walk away from the venue.
 
We are not aware of any road closures directly around the venue but please do check beforehand your itinerary for any eventual road closures on your way to the venue and back.
