More than an Annual General Meeting. Join us to hear from RTPI CEO Rachel Fisher, connect with fellow planners and help shape the future of RTPI North East.
We'd be delighted to welcome you to our AGM and networking event on Monday 7 December, hosted by Ward Hadaway in Newcastle.
Refreshments and light catering will be available from 17:30, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow planning professionals from across the region.
Hear from Rachel Fisher, RTPI CEO
We're pleased to welcome Rachel Fisher, CEO of the RTPI, who will share updates on the profession, the Institute's priorities, and the opportunities and challenges ahead for planning.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from the RTPI's leadership and ask questions about the issues that matter most to you.
Reflect on the year and look ahead
Following Rachel's presentation, we'll celebrate the achievements of RTPI North East over the past year and provide an update on our plans and priorities for the year ahead.
We'll also formally welcome Matt Hewitt as Regional Chair for 2027 and Darren Cuming as Vice Chair, while recognising the valued contribution of our committee members and volunteers.
Help shape the future of RTPI North East
Whether you're already involved or simply interested in finding out more, the AGM is a great opportunity to meet the committee, share your views, and learn how you can help support and influence the profession in the North East. If you're interested in learning more about volunteering opportunities, please contact Kim Walker - we’d love to hear from you.
Book your place
Whether you're a long-standing member or new to the profession, this is an opportunity to connect with like minded people.
Please book your place by Friday 27 November.
Thank you to Ward Hadaway for kindly hosting the event.
