A Young Planners social event incorporating a beach clean, food and games. An opportunity to unwind, enjoy the British summer and build connections with other young planners in the South West.
What to expect:
Join the Devon, Cornwall & Somerset Young Planners for a relaxed summer social by the sea at Dawlish Town Beach. This event is a chance to meet other young planners, enjoy some time outdoors and give something back to the local environment through a beach clean supported by Dawlish Against Plastic.
After the clean-up, we’ll make the most of the beach setting with informal games and an opportunity to enjoy food together. Whether you are new to the profession, studying planning, or already working in the sector, this is a friendly opportunity to unwind, build connections and enjoy the British summer with fellow young planners.
What you'll gain:
- A greater understanding of the role young planners can play in supporting local environmental action and community stewardship
- Build informal professional connections with other young planners across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset
