Your new look RTPI website

The institute has launched a new content management system (CMS) for your website.

In addition to including the new brand and a redesigned homepage the decision to upgrade the CMS was taken by Trustees to offer greater security for users as well as additional features.

During a period of increased cyber security concerns the Board of Trustees decided it was important to upgrade the CMS to the latest version, which provides assurances that member data is more secure.

With regular updates, security patches are applied promptly, which will protect the RTPI’s website from potential threats and vulnerabilities. This is crucial in today's digital landscape, where cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated.

As part of this upgrade, we have also been placed on a long-term pathway which will ensure that we will keep up with changes in technology meaning that any potential reputational threat of memory leaks, downtime and data exposure is minimised.

Beyond those core concerns we took the opportunity to redesign the homepage to give you a clearer index of blogs, news articles, events and essential information for your institute. The homepage will provide you with the latest news from around the institute and the profession.

You will also notice that the website is now includes the institute’s new brand look and feel. We will be formally launching the new brand in the coming days and you will hopefully understand how this new look represents the values we are adopting to best represent the 27,000 and growing members we have.

The teams are working incredibly hard to provide improved services for you across our digital and in-person contacts and the changes we have made to the website are just one part of that.

We will continue to make improvements across the site over the coming years in order to provide the best service we can.
