Outline of role

The Northern Ireland Policy Forum plays a key role in the work of the RTPI in Northern Ireland including supporting the development of RTPI NI policy positions relating to planning and other built environment issues including advising on consultation responses and feeding into the RTPI research strategy.

Eligibility Criteria

We welcome applications from Chartered, Fellow and Associate members from across Northern Ireland who have an interest and experience in planning policy and practice. We encourage applications from members from diverse backgrounds and sectors. Different experiences and views are essential for generating ideas and holding effective discussion.

Minimum time commitment

4 meetings per year, which will be hybrid (online and in-person for each meeting).

How to get involved

Applications for roles are held every two years. All positions are two-year terms and are elected every other year.

Applications open in October/November in the year before.
