These roles are open for application in September each year through our Regions and Nations elections.
Outline of role
The Committee's remit includes supporting members in their professional activities, and building and strengthening the Institute's relations with key stakeholders in Wales.
It also aims at promoting planning, either as a career or through various events for our members in Wales. The full description can be found here.

Minimum time commitment
- 4 meetings a year in March, June, September and December, hybrid online and at the RTPI Cymru office in central Cardiff. Meetings are expected to last around 2 hours and tend to be scheduled from 14:00 to 16:00

For General Assembly representatives only: 4 full day meetings a year (in London or major cities around the UK)

One-hour online induction session at the start of your term.

Be part of shaping and delivering the work of RTPI Cymru for the benefit of wider members.
How to get involved
Elections for roles are held annually. Positions with a two-year term are elected every other year.
Opening and closing date
Nominations open early September and close at the end of September. Elections (if applicable) run through October.
