Fit for all: Creating healthy and inclusive environments through planning (Southampton)
This event is designed for professionals, community leaders, and changemakers committed to shaping places (workplaces, neighbourhoods, and public areas) healthier, more welcoming, and easier for everyone to use.
As our cities, towns, and workplaces continue to evolve, it has never been more important to design environments that promote wellbeing, accessibility, and equity for all.

This event is eligible for up to 3 hours of CPD .
You may want to join us for the South East Awards Dinner after the event from 18:30, to celebrate the outstanding individuals and projects who took part in the 2026 Awards for Planning Excellence, while also offering a fantastic opportunity to network, meet new people, and reconnect with colleagues and friends.
Dinner attendees receive a 35% discount, and LPAs eligible for a 50% discount to this half day event.
Getting to the venue
By train: Southampton Central station is about a 22 minute walk away.
By bus: the venue is on 12 and 18 rout, stop at Britannia Road stop and walk 8 minutes to the venue
By car: Parking is available at the venue.
By taxi: Taxis can drop you off outside the venue.
Before you set off, it's worth checking for any updates – e.g. ongoing roadworks in the area that might affect your journey.

Tickets
We offer free tickets for carers and have a limited number of free or discounted tickets for those working in the public sector, students and those on low income/unemployed. Contact us to check availability.
